OFFSHORE TRAINING COURSES - HELICOPTER REFUELLING

Brief Description

The purpose of this course is to advise delegates who have to attend the helideck and assist the HLO with helideck activities such as Helicopter Refuelling.

Course Contents

Practical fuel sampling and actual refuelling which will be conducted using a fuel pump system in a realistic manner

Helicopters will be identified and safety points highlighted.

Delegates will be made aware of all quality control procedures expected for the correct and safe methods of refuelling helicopters.

Fuel specification, additives

Dealing with contamination

Filter water separators and fuel monitors

Routine check and maintenance

Duration

The duration of this course is three - four hours. This course can be provided over several sessions theory and practical to suit rig operations and shift patterns.
