OFFSHORE TRAINING COURSES - WORKING AT HEIGHTS

 

Brief Description

With the latest changes to “Working at Height” employer’s need to re-assess and monitor their staff who are working at height. This may involve an office employee standing on a step to gain access to shelving, a ladder being used by an electrician to change light tubes or personnel using ladders, scaffolding, cherry pickers, safety harnesses and fall arrest equipment to enable them to work safely.

At Onsite Training Services we provide a designed training package to meet the requirements of employees and employers.

Complying with W.A.H.R, HASWA, M.H.S.W.A, PUWER, LOLER

 

Selecting the appropriate equipment

 

Safe use of Ladders

 

Safe Use of Scaffolding Platforms and MEWPS

 

Understanding the dangers of working on roofs

 

Recognising the hazards when working at height

 

Fall Prevention

 

Fall Restraint - Fall Control/Arrest Systems

Duration

The duration of this course is three - four hours. This course can be provided over several sessions’ theory to suit rig operations and shift patterns.
