ONSHORE TRAINING COURSES - HELIDECK ASSISTANT

Brief Description

This course is designed to provide the knowledge and skills required for persons employed as Offshore Helideck Assistants, and whom are required to assist the HLO conduct safe Helideck Operations. Delegates will be assessed against the OPITO Approved Helideck Assistant Standards, although a training providers certificate will be issued.

Course Contents

Preparation for helicopter landing

Preparation for helicopter departure

Preparation of freight for loading

Unloading & loading of baggage passengers & freight

Assist with the preparation for refuelling

Assist with the refuelling of the helicopter

Assist with the shutdown of the refuelling operation

Location and Duration

The duration of this course is one-day. The course is a combination of both theory and practical content. This course can be delivered at Onsite Training Services centre in Dyce, Aberdeen or at client’s premises.
