Brief Description
The purpose of this course is to provide delegates with a full understanding of the current legislation associated with lifting operations and provide a thorough understanding of the correct methods of inspection to identify faulty or damaged equipment. Candidates will be instructed on the correct methods of using rigging equipment to move loads with offset centre of gravity. An individual assessment to determine learning outcomes and competency will be prepared for each delegate.

Delegates will work in teams to examine lifting machinery and accessories then plan and undertake “Routine” rigging tasks. |

Delegates will work in teams undertake various “Complex” rigging tasks. Delegates will be required to individually plan given rigging tasks assessed on their knowledge and skills learned. |

Location and Duration
The duration of this course is two days. The course is a combination of both theory and practical content. This course is delivered at Onsite Training Services centre in Dyce, Aberdeen or at client’s premises. |
