ONSHORE TRAINING COURSES - HIGH PRESSURE WATER JETTING (Yellow) (Cutting and Breaking)

Brief Description

The purpose of this course is to advise delegates on the correct and safe operation of all types of Water Jetting Equipment normally used in Cutting and Breaking.

Course Contents

Identify hazards associated with high pressure water jetting

Understanding of operational procedures

Daily checks of equipment and maintenance

General principles regarding use of PPE

Demonstration of correct use and methods

Familiarisation of equipment used for Cutting and Breaking & preparation of Nozzles, Ancillaries, hoses and jetting machinery

Awareness of pressure drop through hoses

The Blue course (safety awareness) has to be refreshed every 36 months to keep Water Jetting certification valid.

Location and Duration

The duration of this course is one-day. The course is a combination of both theory and practical content. This course can be delivered at Onsite Training Services centre in Dyce, Aberdeen or at client’s premises.

Pre-requisites

Delegates should be in possession of the Water Jetting Association Safety awareness certificate (Blue)
